First thing: Take
off the hood, drain
the fluids and get
the
motor out. The
sooner the motor and
tranny get to the
builders, the sooner
the car can be
running. (At least
that's what I
thought)
It's amazing the car made the six hour drive here based on what we see. (Especially after that 120mph show for the guy in the z car... Katie, it was a wide open Texas highway, broad daylight and not another car as far as the eye could see). Anyway, all three carb gaskets are sucking air. The points are completely shot, and I remove three intake manifold bolts and the distributor lock down with my fingers. Who knows what else we'll find. |
