I filed this little
fake spy camera out
of stainless steel
and used circuitry
from a broken pda
(before they were
called pda's) to
make a convincing
biometric scanner
and download port.
Hidden rare-earth
magnets hold the
access hatch on and
allow the spy cam to
cling to
anything
metal. This PEZ dispenser spy cam idea came from a comic I never did, but ironically, it helped me get into the movie business.Unbeknownst to me, Robert Rodriguez was gearing up to make Spy Kids around the same time and looking to make plenty of gadgets. I'll never forget how excited I was when he gave me my first film crew job. |
